Designed for our client, PIC Homes, the development of the brownfield site has increased the provision of family homes in the Timperley area. This was achieved by demolishing a single detached vacant council building to create five five-bedroom dwellings. The development responds to both the traditional context of the street and the character of PIC Homes' 119 Park Road development to the rear of the site, where a more contemporary design has been sought, thus creating a holistic development between the two sites.
The new homes will all achieve EPC A ratings and will have high thermal fabric U-values. They will be powered by sustainable energy through Air Source Heat Pumps and PV panels on the roofs. Additionally, all homes will be provided with secure cycle stores and EV car charging points.
