Why CODA Bespoke

We are an innovative practice, our team will lift your project out of the ordinary – delivering a design that meets your brief and exceeds your expectations. We tailor our designs to be individual to you and your site.

It's about you

You are at the centre of every architectural decision. Our focus is on your experience of our architecture rather than imposing our style. It’s about your vision and goals. We want to know what makes you tick. How you live. And the role your home plays in your lifestyle. Using this approach, we can design and deliver living spaces that work in harmony with your way of life.

With over 40 years of collective experience in luxury residential architecture, we can turn your ideas into a reality. From concept to creation. Design to delivery. Previous project build budgets ranged from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions and with locations ranging from Central London to Manchester and even further north, we have worked in partnership with clients all across the UK.

We are award winning! As recent winners of the Northern Design Awards for Best Residential Development, and with more award nominations awaiting decision in 2019, we set the bar high.  And with the majority of our work coming through referrals from happy clients, we feel that this speaks volumes about our track record.

We deliver

We are a full-service architectural design and delivery firm. Design, Planning Regulations, Structural Engineering, Construction Tenders, Contract Administration… The process can be complex, which is why we deliver from start to finish, taking the stress off your shoulders. Whether your project is an extension, renovation or new home, we will carry your vision from sketch to completion, regardless of scale.

Meet The Team

Abel Hinchliffe

With a wealth of experience Abel heads up CODA Bespoke, specialising in luxury residential projects both large and small.

With an ingrained love for great design and a pragmatic approach, Abel provides the initial ideas that then go onto become the dream homes our clients love. By meeting with clients to discuss their aspirations for the project, it's his aim to help them develop the vision they have and create a project that includes wow factor and individuality. Once the designs are agreed and the build is underway he then ensures the concept is enforced and delivered the best it can be, right through to site inspections with the builders and final handover.

When the working day is over you will find him spending time with his young family, going for walks or indeed doing whatever his daughters decide will be the best activity for the day..!

Tom Holmes

Tom plays a vital part in the CODA Bespoke technical delivery team, focusing on the detailed design, moving projects through building regulations and onto the tender stage.

Once a project has received planning permission it's his job to develop the designs further by layering them with specifications and details until they are ready to be tendered and eventually constructed on site.

By keeping up to date with latest regulations and having a strong awareness of detail, he ensure that projects run as smoothly as possible on site.

Daniel Bull

With his skills in 3D design and fly-through visuals, Daniel helps clients get a true understanding of their future home well in advance of anything being built. Positive and approachable, he helps to bring a project to life, even at the early concept stages, with media that captures the whole design, right down to the tiniest detail.

On his days off he likes to spend time with his fiancé and his dog, relaxing and enjoying good food.

His favourite architectural feat is the roman colosseum; considering it was built 2000 years ago the magnitude of it is remarkable.

When not immersed in the world of architecture, Ethan enjoys playing badminton as a member of Team Hallam as well as playing the piano.

He joined the team as an Architectural Assistant on his path to becoming a fully qualified Architect.

Harry has previous experience working on a variety of residential projects across the East Midlands, throughout all the architectural design stages and at varying scales. His love for residential design stems from the intimacy and social value that is involved with creating homes, realising that each project is unique and has the potential to create invaluable experiences for each and every client.

When Harry’s not in the office, you can find him either walking in the peaks or in a beer garden watching the rugby.

Regan Hill

Regan Hill – CODA Bespoke
Regan studied BArch Architecture at the University of Lincoln and graduated in 2021. As a person with an ingrained passion for art and design, he looks to incorporate his creativeness into all aspects of the design process.

Whilst studying his degree in Architecture, he developed a particular interest for architectural conservation, exploring how sustainable methods of design could be integrated into the preservation of our historical framework. As part of the CODA Bespoke team, Regan tries to implement this into his everyday work – from conceptual design through to technical detailing.

Outside of work, Regan plays football twice a week and enjoys socialising with friends over a few beers and good food. His passion for travelling has influenced his appreciation for diverse styles of architecture – with Rome, Paris, New York, and Barcelona being his favourite places to date.

Architectural Assistant
With previous experience working in a residential architecture firm in London, Connie joined CODA as an Architectural Assistant in the summer of 2023. She is currently attending Sheffield-Hallam University as a postgraduate, working her way towards Part 3 and becoming a fully qualified Architect.

During her undergraduate studies at Kingston University, she developed an interest in exploring the relationship between human and environment via sustainable/ecological design in architecture. This inspired her to volunteer at construction sites, gaining hands-on knowledge about how to use reclaimed materials in construction. Allowing her to see building from different perspectives, embracing the hidden beauty and uniqueness behind all building projects.

Outside the office, Connie has a passion for photography. She specialises in unique, adventurous pinhole cameras and enjoys working in darkrooms developing her film.

Raychelle Lemi

Architectural Assistant
