This property was bought by property developers Urban Interiors and kitchens and we were asked to create a design that would suit the market for the sought after area of Dore, turning this dated 3 bed property with a combination of poor extensions in to a modern family home. We have created a 5 bed house with generous open plan living area by adding a 2 storey side extension and single storey rear extension. We have kept the materials pallet sympathetic to the original using a combination of brick and render, but built this up in a contemporary fashion with clean lines and bold wraps of brickwork framing large areas of glazing. The finished product has given this house a new lease of life, and is now perfect for modern day living.
